Nudgee Operations Impress Senior Government Officials

Senior members of the Department of Public Works and Project Services in Queensland visited our site at Nudgee recently to ascertain the quality and capability of the Queensland Recycling crushing operations.

Amongst the guests were the DPW Director of Technical Services Group, Michael Ball along with Project Services Assistant Director Lee Wade and senior personnel.

Following the viewing of the operations from the stockpile and inspection of the high quality finished product the delegates were impressed with the efficient simplicity of the facility.

The visit was a real eye-opener for these departmental decision makers who had many questions answered and information provided.

Michael Ball was pleased to provide the latest information from his department on the Government’s policy commitment and guidelines for recycled material for buildings and infrastructure, released just recently.

The Queensland Government’s resolute assurance of the benefits of recycling has seen it commit to ambitious outcomes that we, as part of industry, will work towards to achieve the best possible outcome for the community.
