$3.5 million Buy Out Puts Alex Fraser Asphalt in Full Control |

Alex Fraser Asphalt is now the sole owner of the multi-million dollar drum mix plant used to create its range of quality asphalt products following a successful buy-out of its joint-venture partner of nearly 10 years, Works Infrastructure. The $3.5 million acquisition, finalised in October, gives Alex Fraser Asphalt 100 per cent control and the secure foundations it needs for further expansion and growth. |

Premier Brumby Officially Opens the Western Metropolitan Recycling Facility |

The world's most advanced construction and demolition (C&D) materials recycling facility has been officially opened by the Premier of Victoria the Hon. John Brumby MP in Melbourne Wednesday 18 November 2009. The $45 million Western Metropolitan Recycling Facility, owned and operated by the Alex Fraser Group, brings together some of the smartest design and most innovative technology available to deliver a massive boost to C&D recycling capacity in Victoria. According to the Alex Fraser Group Managing Director Jamie McKellar the new plant will recycle up to one million tonnes of C&D materials each year, nearly a third of Victoria's entire C&D recycling effort in 2007-08 from just one plant. |
