Alex Fraser quality recycled aggregates gains further recognition from councils

Date: 2-Aug-2013

Recently, three more Victorian councils have provided official confirmation of approval and guidelines for the use of recycled products on road works and in drainage works in their areas. Hume City Council, Brimbank City Council and the City of Casey have now followed in the footsteps of other major local councils, such as the City of White Horse and the Glen Eira, Hobsons Bay, and Kingston City Councils, among many others.

Over the last few years, Alex Fraser’s recycled construction and demolition pavement materials have increasingly become the product of choice as an alternative for traditionally quarried products. Alex Fraser’s class 3 and 4 recycled crushed concrete in particular has gained the respect of many leading councils in Victoria.

Due to Alex Fraser’s rigorous testing regime, the company has left no room for misconceptions regarding the quality of their recycled product. The on-site NATA accredited labs are used to test all road base, aggregates, and asphalt products, assuring clients receive a reliable and consistent source of quality end products which are guaranteed to comply with Vicroads specifications 820 and 821.

Recycling construction and demolition materials since 1985, Alex Fraser has always been at the forefront of recycling by pioneering innovative new products, such as recycled sand for pipe bedding. Furthermore, the company’s Quality Management Systems are certified to ISO 9001, and Environmental Management System is certified to ISO 14001, guaranteeing customers not only the highest quality, but also the peace of mind that their product of choice is a sustainable one, at a competitive price.
