Educating the Educators at Alex Fraser Group

25 school careers advisors from around Australia toured Alex Fraser’s Laverton site earlier this year to gain a greater understanding of the opportunities available to young people moving from school to a work environment.
The visitors heard presentations from three of Alex Fraser’s staff talking about the range of experiences and careers available to people in the recycling, construction and demolition sector.

In just two hours the visit changed perceptions about recycling and began new friendships for Alex Fraser with several new schools which are ‘keen to do business’.
